Artist description
Hello,
My name is Clifton Lewis, and I have been singing all my life. I am originally from the Carolinas.
I now reside in Florida. My music is mostly traditional Country and Gospel; however, I do some easy listening, 50's, and bluegrass.
I was told by KMA Studios that I have a great set of pipes for singing.
I am presently working on my second CD. It should be released sometime about the middle of 2003.
The plans are to record a few of my songs on this CD. I am also involved with a fund-raising project to restore a historical structure.
An interview has been completed for local TV to help promote my music.
There have been two local newspaper articles.
One thing I enjoy is observing the looks, reactions, and smiles on the people in the audience; causing people to laugh and be happy is one of my main goals.
My major accomplishments at this point are,
1) Performing at the Bowry, Alabama’s Beginning, at Myrtle Beach for a whole season.
2) Singing in Branson, MO. on stage at Barbara Fairchild’s Theater.
3) Making my first CD, "One Lucky Man".
4) Receiving a trophy from TCMA in March 2002. The trophy was for song #8, "Send The Angels Down".
5) Receiving an award at the "Best Of Texas" show in October for an "Outstanding Showcase Performance".
My plan is to have a good singing career, entertaining others and bringing happiness to many.
I have been told by many in the industry that I have good strong voice; nice stage presence; and that I am a great entertainer.
Thank you for visiting, and please stop by again.
Clifton Lewis.
