Artist History Chosen was formed in January of 2001 when Steve Koran called me to let me know that he had been practicing with Brian Riek and Frank Adaway and that they were looking for a singer. I was immediately interested because I had jammed with all three of them in previous bands and knew their abilities. Unfortunately after a few rehearsals we realized that stylistically Frank wasn't going to work out. It looked like things might end there, but as fate would have it I ran into Dave Kieta who I played with in The Search and asked him if he was playing for anyone. He wasn't and when I played him a demo of the material we were working on he signed on as the new drummer for Chosen. Over the last year and a half we have spent most of our time in the studio recording our unique blend of classic metal and modern progressive rock. By Christmas 2002 we should have a gift for everyone yearning for metal with melody. No non-stop screaming, no rapping or DJs and no staring at our shoes on stage. Just straight ahead rock that makes you wanna pump your fist in the air and sing along. Troy Feltz
