Artist History
AgnusDei formed in the winter of 2001. The original members were: Eugenio Baldi (vocals, guitar), Ricardo Delgado (guitar, keyboard, back-up vocals), Chris Costabile (guitar, keyboard), Eric Frase (bass), and Greg Costa (drums). After Greg left to join The Chucky Love Band, and Eric left to smoke more pot, the remaining members brought in Jason Bledsoe to fill in on drums and Andy Craven to fill in on bass. Ricardo was the next to go. The band was cursed from the beginning. Eventually, the guys decided it was time to slow down and focus more on writing new material (basically, they broke up).
After this graceful defeat, the only ones that showed interest in continuing were Eugenio and Bile. The both of them kept writing music and working at putting the band back together. It wasn't long before they made the decision to put out an album. They began recording "Common Pleasure" in September 2002, with the help of close friend and producer Brian Berry. The album was released sometime in December. The band reformed shortly after. That is all. Bye for now.
