    Artist description
Suddenly out of a need to create art that is almost excessively self-indulgent yet still incredibly appealing to the music listening masses, Stasera was formed - an intensely original rock group who gives an appreciative nod to today’s commercial hard rock artists but continue to hold their own with a touch of beauty, elegance, darkness, and a tint of aggressive seduction. Modern hard rock fans will find an incredible familiarity and catchiness within Stasera’s music and will relate to its introspective message, but will experience a heavier, more elegant, and more emotional undertone paired with an unforgettably sophisticated aesthetic. Stasera’s beginnings lie within siblings Desiree David (Vocals) and Nathan David (Songwriter, Guitarist) who as a songwriting duo create the majority of the band’s melodic and heavy sound. Having made the natural journey through many different phases of enjoying pop music and culture, it was older sibling (Desiree) who got Nathan into modern rock. Having noticed the swift evolution of his highly original songwriting talents, the two began a slow collaboration which would eventually manifest as Stasera. The unique and original style created between the two defines the powerful emotion that is Stasera’s music. In the final stages of the initial Stasera compositions, Nathan was in search of an experienced rhythm section to complete the band who shared commensurate technical proficiency and who could understand the vision and direction in which the songwriting was headed so that they could augment it with their own signature and talent. It was old high school acquaintance Dean Dichoso who filled the shoes not only of being the drummer for the band but also producer for the first Stasera studio sessions. Having an extensive list of influences, Dean’s solid and high-energy bottom heavy drumming style compliments Stasera’s heavy and sometimes dance-like quality. Also an old high school acquaintance, Paul Anderson filled the bass guitar position, whose minimalist, punchy bass style is incredibly solid. Armed with experience performing with hardcore and metal acts, Paul is the necessary link between the deep, driving rhythms and signature dark melodies. Most rock bands will usually resort to visual aggression to provoke excitement from the live audience. Stasera has proven that the music has all the power to do just that, administering a strong and focused sophisticated visual aesthetic in the live setting that seems to elegantly exhibit a “calm before the storm” feel. This is not to say they give a bland live performance. Stasera’s live performance can still be tastefully overwhelming. Nathan’s modern yet 80’s-rock infused guitar style compliments Desiree’s driving, sexy vocal performances while Dean’s full, deep drumming style along with Paul’s calculated bottom end bass guitar performances give the music its heavy, driving energy. Looking forward to spreading the art wherever they can, Stasera continues to express its forceful introspectiveness by means of their music... Far beyond the stylistic boundaries that lie in the music of today’s rock acts.
