ST. CATHERINE'S OLD GIRLS CHOIR was formed in 1995 under Richard Voth's direction. Most of its members are bachelors and former students of St. Catherine's School. The repertoire has popular national and foreign styles, jazz and classic. |

Artist History
The prizes obtained in the competition organized by the St. Andrew's Society of the River Plate were: first prize in 1996, first prize in 1997, second prize in 1998 and first prize again in 1999. The choir has also assisted festivals (such as the St. Luke's Festival), other competitions, weddings and the Christmas party at the British Embassy

Richard Voth: Director.
Was born in April, 30, 1956 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He did his university studies in the Bether College, St. Paul, Minnesota, USA, from 1974 to 1979. The title obtained Musical Education, with specialization in Choral and Orchestra Direction. In 1989 he was the private student of Vince Corozine, compositor, arranger, producer in King's College, New York, in Jazz arrangements for choral and instrumental music.
From 1981 to 1995 he was Director of the Music Department of St. Luke's College, Olivos. From 1980 to 1992, Professor of Music in primary and intermediate of Lincoln School, La Lucila. From 1985 to 1990, Director of the Presbyterian Church Choir of St. Andrews, Olivos. From 1991 till present, Coordinator of the Instrumental Festival of Lincoln School. From 1996 till present Director of the Department of Music of St. Andrew's School. In 1997, General Coordinator of the First International Festival of Youth Choirs "Buenos Aires Sings". From 1995 till present Director of the St. Catherine's Old Girls Choir. |
