The Pocket is a 6 piece band from Washington D.C. that blends urban stylings of alternative rock and hip hop with the roots of reggae, ska and jazz to form a sound for today's diverse audience.
As a band, The Pocket successfully transcends categorization while maintaining a solid and growing fan base that can develop into mass appeal.

Group Members
Omar Teitelbaum is an experienced singer and songwriter, who combines street talent and radio sensibility with the skills to play rhythm guitar and keyboards.
Lead Guitarist and vocalist Terrence Brown, originally from Jamaica, is a seasoned musician who brings his cross-over style of percussive guitar together with experienced guidance as the band leader.
Ameen Saleem is a skillful and seasoned bassist, who mixes his jazz education with his ear for the street to form a cutting edge rhythm section with drummer Patrick Tiglao. Patrick, originally from the Virginia and D.C. area is comfortable playing in any genre. He honed his progressive urban style in Washington D.C. influenced by Latin jazz, funk, reggae and is the driving force on the rhythm section.
Eleni Marinos plays keyboard with her classical and Greek influence to round out the sound of The Pocket.
Patricia Zarate and the Pockettes complete the tapestry of sound combining her jazzy latin saxophone with their sultry harmonies.
