Artist History North Origin is a 5 piece band based in Orlando, Florida. With roots in modern, classic, and progressive rock, the band has forged their own unique, yet easy to listen to sound and combined these heavy grooves with meaningful, challenging lyrics. Founded in the summer of 2001 by Jon Miller, Amanda Mills, and Dave Foster, the band has been building a repertoire of intelligent rock since it's inception. They took their time when looking for a drummer and in early 2002 found the perfect fit in Andy Hollingsworth. After a year of building a strong repertoire of original material and tightening up, the band began playing around Orlando this year with good success, cutting their teeth with gigs at Underground Bluz and Will's Pub with local icon Indorphine (http://www.indorphine.com). The lineup has gone through some changes recently with the addition of Eric Adams on guitar, and drummer Andy's departure to further his education. Andy's input has been invaluable and will always be regarded as priceless. His spot on the stage will instead be taken by Derrick the Spiv, who provides with Eric a new dynamic to the North Origin sound that you need to hear.
