Artist description FOLLY HOLIDAYS is an on going musical project of funny songs for the holidays! In 2001, Peter Forrest and Veronica Charnley teamed together to create some funny Halloween music known as THE FRANKENSTEIN FILES (also on mp3.com.) In 2002, NYC's premiere photocartoonist, Kat Caverly challenged the duo to write other funny holiday songs based on some of her ideas. Thus, FOLLY HOLIDAYS was created to rewrite the holidays through comedy!

Artist History Peter Forrest and Veronica Charnley have been working on various projects together since mid 2001. Peter has always been a fan of the late "Danny Kaye" and his hilarious movies (i.e. Inspector General, Wonderman). Peter liked Kaye so much he learned to imitate accents while singing songs. Much of the songs Peter writes are inspired by Kaye's craziness and vocal virtuosity, and Peter attempts to have just as much fun in the songs he writes and parodies. Peter has a degree in German language and speaks French so he is hooked on languages. His first major musical work, The Frankenstein Files: a Halloween music project was first launched with eight songs in October 2001, eventually developed into a CD of eighteen songs for kids, showcasing the talents of Peter and Veronica. Peter is also a big fan of Abbott and Costello and the songs are a tribute to them! On Veronica's side, she released her debut folk CD "Deeper Still" in October 2001 and has worked on various musical projects while completing her degree in music. Kat Caverly, a photocartoonist from New York City has hooked up with the duo with new ideas to create funny seasonal music to make the world smile -- these days, we need it even more!
