Artist description I am first and foremost focused on glorifying God through speaking the Word, preaching the gospel to the lost, and exhorting the church. By writing with a desire to teach and preach, and rhyming with emotion, I believe that I will fulfill the divinely given mission of my Lord and Savior. My songs hit hard by the delivery and the message- make sure you turn them up loud and allow them to hit you as hard as I hope they will, both in your soul and your skin. I suppose that you would term me a rookie gospel rapper with a desire to improve and obey and worship God all of my days, whether through hip hop or another vocation.

Artist History This started for me in the summer of 2001, when I started posting on the website "HipHopGateway." I wrote a song or two a week for the next year and found myself steadily improving as people gave me helpful exhortation and feedback. When I received encouragement from several different people urging me to record a demo cd, I did so. This project was completed in October 2002, comprising the first time I had ever recorded in a studio. I am currently waiting to see what happens with this venture and am continually writing and working on this craft in order that I may bring further glory to my God, as He leads and allows me to do so. We'll see where He leads after my graduation from college in the coming spring, Lord willing.

Group Members I am a solo artist going by the name "Crosswords" because I speak words based in the cross, in Christ's substituionary atonement for the sins of men, and also because this truth is a mystery, like a crossword puzzle. My angle, of course, is that I come with the solution to sin and the condemnation it brings, that of Christ's shed blood for all who will believe and confess their sins, turning from darkness to light.
