Artist History A West Michigan Rock-N-Roll grass roots band established in March 2001, BWR has created a wealth of music comprised of various styles and sounds. They have performed at various establishments in the local area, The Kraftbrau House, Kalamazoo, Michigan was selected for the band's CD Release Party, and the famed Club Soda, Kalamazoo, Michigan, are locations of most recent performances. BWR has also performed on the morning radio program (Nick & Heather in the morning) at WKFR (103.3), Kalamazoo, MI. On November 11, Blue Water Rising will perform on the syndicated radio program **The Mitch Albom Show** broadcast in 38 states at 125 radio stations. A relatively new act, BWR is looking to break on the scene with a sound that can only be defined as **Michigan Rock**.

Press Reviews BWR has recently finished a four-song demo CD with the help of Derek Menchinger of Sound Stage 1, Climax, MI. The release of this CD is scheduled for October 2002. These songs reveal how versatile these talented musicians are by having more than one lead singer, a great mix of harmony, and a sound that cannot be duplicated. Their passion to create great Rock-N-Roll that people can relate to is evident after hearing this project. The band selected the name Blue Water Rising after the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron, where founding member Mike Madill was born.
