Artist History
Herbert Davis made his first appearance onto the Reggae scene at the age of 19. Music found its way into the heart of this Jamaican born singer at the early age of ten. Surrounded by family members who all practiced some form of music, it was inevitable that music would be this natural-born singer's destiny. Herbert has been influenced by Reggae's greatest singers and finds the roots style of Reggae to be the most inspiring. It comes as no surprise that throughout the years of changing fads, Herbert has remained loyal and true to his roots in terms of musical styles. As a self-taught guitarist and bassist, he composes original music and touches the heart with lyrics that speak of a journey through life. His songs are not just about life, but about countries and people in general. The rich and the poor, the young and the old, the oppressed and, of course, songs of freedom. No doubt, Herbert brings new meaning to the words |
