Artist History
The nucleus of the band used to be Michael Karlsson (guitar)and Roger Nyman (bass). The two of them have played together since the early 90's. In 1998 they decided to do something more ambitious thantheir numerous old demo-tapes. This led to the recording of 40 minute concept album Mr Zingelmann, featuring singer Dennis Nordell and guest keyboard player Sebastian Teir. The demo got some great response, and motivated Prime Mover to make an even better follow-up. In the fall of 2001 the band completed the second album, and this time around Sebastian has been fully involved right from the start as a full member. The sequenced drums have been replaced by a real flesh-and-blood drummer, Kenneth Lagerström. Roger and Michael still conceive the songs, though. The songs are more progressive, and the production far superior to "Zingelmann". The album is a 50-minute self-financed "real" cd, called "Put In Perspective".
