Musical Influences
Lots of different stuff really, but The Doors and Nick Cave are maybe the greatest heroes. Velvet Underground, The Stooges/Iggy Pop, early Black Sabbath, Joy Division and Depeche Mode are also bands that have meant a lot. And we all love punk and punk's ideals. And Johnny Cash is great.. And we all share a fondness for Irish folkmusic, and there you have it. Our music is a kind of mixture of these preferances, a melting pot of all the music we love with our own special touch to it. The important thing is the passion you put into your music, not whether you can fit to this or that label or not. For us the constant factor are the theme of our lyrics, which deal with the darker sides of the human existence. |
