Artist History In 1996 we made up 3/4ths of a band called Jadeadone along with a singer named Tereasa who wore knee-high boots. That band broke up in 97 when Chris, frustrated by modern American life, relocated to Mexico to live la vida loca before anyone knew who Ricky Martin was. Norm and Eric continued to play in various projects (including as the rhythm section for a gospel choir). Just as we two were tiring of various projects with people who didn't think a rhythm section could or should write music, Chris returned to our side of the border. Teresa-less, we three reunited to form a mighty machine, more powerful than each of us alone (kind of like a musical Voltron). Orbit 3 was the result of this unholy reunion.Without a vocalist, we focused on instrumentation, musicality, dynamic groove and finding the cheapest bottled beer in the Twin Cities. One day, Chris stepped up to the mic and began to sing. Now, armed with lyrics, we plied our trade here and there. Then Norm tapped his powerful vocal well and, together with Chris, harmonies were made. Norm sings the lead vocals on "Withstand It" and "Three Bandits." Eric tried to sing, too, but we told him he sucks (which made him cry) and make sure he never gets a mic at shows. You should come to our shows, if for no other reason, just to watch him cry.
