A California native, Kym grew up in a musician's family - on both sides. Burnt on her classical training by the age of 9, she began writing her own songs while going on to train in jazz and composition. Her 1998 release (Cake Records, produced by Evan Brubaker) was cited as one of the Top 12 Indie releases of the year by The Performing Songwriter Magazine. |
