Artist description
Juergen Novotny is a electronic music newcomer in Germany whosedebut album 'Fly!' gained a lot of attention in the EM scene.'Fly!' is the balance of the last eight years of music creation. "Each piece on this CD has it's very own history and throws a light on certainaspects of my life. Being aware that it's not easy to categorize the album I learned from a review by A. Piltz in the german Keyboards magazine that my musichas to be settled somewhere between romantic pop, film music and electronic music; and this is the best description I've heard till now. This year I've beenchosen as electronic music newcomer '98 in Germany; and also with my upcoming album I would like to continue my interpretation of, let's say, 'pictorial music'.Enjoy!"---------------------------------------------Juergen Novotny's company 'Virtual Web & Sound Studio'deals with web design and CD cover artwork as well as thecomposition and premastering of electronic music for artist CD's or film scoring at www.virtualwebstudio.de. |

Press Reviews
Keyboards (Germany) 12/97: ...'Fly!' is a very pleasing album, somewhere between romantic pop, opulent film music and electronics;here a precision mechanic was active with 'magnifiying glasses and forceps'.MEMI (German magazine for electronic music in the internet):...my hint for all of you who want to convince themselves that good electronic musicis not only existing in the professional league (1997).Review in the german magazine 'SchallDruck' 10/98:...a debut thats able to blow away the spider's webs not only from the electronic musicand hardcore electronics brains... |
