.Nothing obvious can be said about Invisible Theater. Always developing, always changing, always mysterious. This is the beginning of theater. The embryo of the real art of performance. The pure sense of adventure and excitement. It may be a small thing, it may be a quirky thing, it may be offbeat, or recognizable, or unrecognizable. But it is always Invisible Theater. It is always proceeding forward into unknown areas of theater, life, and thought. It's improvisation -- no rehearsal. When you see it in public, you don't even know it. It might be on the subway, the bus, or train, in a restaurant, a pizza parlor, on the street while you're driving your car or walking somewhere. You may see it and not even know it. This is necessary -- if you knew it, it wouldn't be invisible. This is an experiment. This is an experience. This is a never-ending journey of Invisible Theater.
This is the face that has seen what other people shun and ignore. This is the face that has endured the pain of life, and accepted its fate in life. This is the face of the common man, the common and necessary ingredient in humanity. Without him, we’re just something waiting to grow out of a piece of shit -- I mean, manure.
Life isn't always as ugly as it seems, only as ugly as you make it. Beyond the pain, beyond the anxiety, beyond the anticipating, beyond the goals and incentives of life, there is a place that you can go and always be safe and become something other than the common brute. It's called humanity. Visit it some time. It may be more interesting than you had thought.
