Artist History "I got involved in the Greenwich Village songwriter scene in the mid-80s while studying poetics at NYU - performed at Speakeasy and Folk City, recorded a dozen cuts for Fast Folk Musical Magazine, and made my first album. In 1987, I moved to CT and did a stint as an English Professor. In 1993 I put out Barehanded on PRIME-CD, the company's debut release, and started touring full time in 1994. I've gotten a chance to play a lot of the major clubs and festivals in the US and have performed in Europe and Israel. In 1996 I put out Mozart's Money, and last year I collaborated with my old friend Mark Dann to make Rocket Science. I've sung on stage with Richard Shindell, Ani DiFranco and Dar Williams, and recently recorded a song with Dar for a Christine Lavin tribute album on Prime-CD. A very impish muse has become my alter ego ever since the infamous "Bill's Dick," which finally got captured on CD at the 1998 Folk Next Door concert at the Univ. of Hartford. This is either very good or very very bad for both of us."
