Artist description
Eternal Decision has released two albums. The first self-titled album has more of a Metallica/Pantera vibe.(See Reviews). Their 2nd album "Ghost in the Machine" has the same influences but is more modern sounding. The heavy songs are more groove based and ED has also thrown in a couple of mellower, emotional tunes. (See Reviews). Both CD's can be purchased through www.crossrhythmsmusic.com, www.radrockers.com and www.GodfatherRecords.com. The self-titled CD has been re-released with new artwork through GodFather Records (www.GodfatherRecords.com). DAM CD's of both albums are now available. If you scroll on down past the reviews section you can check out some of the other bands on GodFather Records. AWAKE-similar in style to BUSH and CREED. ELEVEN HOURS DOWN-similar in style to TRAINING FOR UTOPIA and HELMET. |

Press Reviews
THESE REVIEWS ARE FROM OUR SELF-TITLED ALBUM WHICH WILL BE AVAILABLE THROUGH MP3.COM AS A DAM CD Hands down. This is the "pick of the litter" this issue. It gets the "heavy/kick butt" award of the day for us here at the office. Pounding rythyms and passionate vocals bring to mind Pantera at one point and Metallica the next. 12 songs of pure power.HM MAGAZINE Over 53 minutes of bone crushing, groove pounding metal to satisfy anyone who is a fan of heavy music! Though comparisons to Metallica and Pantera will be sure to come this way, these Oklahoman's have enough original hooks of their own to make this a stellar release. THE SCREAMER There's no denying these guys are tight and the unbelievably excellent production is a major bonus. The first thing that grabs you is the in your face guitars, power of the double kick and the vocals. This disc will be in the player for a wee while yet.WREATHE OF THORNS MAGAZINE-NEW ZEALAND These musicians play a kind of thrash power that scares. Although they remind me a lot of Metallica, they focus their sound more to this age. The bass drums sound wonderful and the guitars are heartrendering. This music is to make you slam and run all over your house.TUMBA VACIA MAG-MEXICO Eternal Decision definately showcase some tight musicianship and production on this CD! Pit-slamming grooves with hints of Pantera. MOSH IT UP!!! SPIKED IMPALEMENT ZINE This is probably the best Christian power/thrash metal out there right now. Great guitar tone. The vocals sometimes sound like Metallica and other times like a more subdued Pantera. The music is highly influenced by Master of Puppets/And Justice For All - era Metallica. In fact, they've achieved that sound better than any other band I've heard.THE PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH THESE ARE THE REVIEWS FOR "GHOST IN THE MACHINE". What ensues here is some seriously crunchy, very tightly played metal. This CD sounds very good, with great song writing and a very heavy groove throughout. HM MAGAZINE WOW! Eternal D is back and WAY better than before! The CD has a lot more originality than their debut and the sound has changed for the better. "Ghost..." really shows some maturity. The best thing about the new sound is that all the songs sound independent from one another. Heavy crunch guitars and a lot more melody than before. There is even a ballad on this one! GO! THE BRUTAL TRUTH ZINE . Eternal Decision is playing some real crunchy and tight metal. All songs are carried by a heavy groove. Another positive point about this release is that most songs differ from each other so that the CD stays interesting throughout the whole 45 minutes. The production of this disk is also excellent so that the groovy metal is blasting throughout your house and it is damn hard to not headbang and run around yelling along with this release. I guess you can compare the music on this album to Pantera and other bands in that department. They even have recorded with "Thru This Pain" an emotional ballad. UNDERTOW WEB-ZINE I think Eternal Decision got tired of hearing the Metallica comparison, and decided to trash that. With this new album Ghost In The Machine they forge a new sound for themselves. Still playing crunchy groove metal, the band threw out the standards and just did whatever came to mind. The songs are original and tight. One of the best tracks on this CD is song 2, "Strength". This song is soooo good. The drumming really stands out on this album. WOW! Kirk Campbell really out did himself on this one! I can't think of one track where he's not just simply tearing it up. The guitars are crazy thick on songs like "Ghost in the Machine", and "Blindsided" you feel your being crushed by them. In the midst of all this metal groove, they throw in the song "Alien" It's really good, but unexpected. In the middle of this decidedly industrial song, they break out into a short thrash piece. This song just keeps you going. Groove fans check into this one. I've listened to it countless times. IIt's an all around excellent release. DEAD E-ZINE |
