Artist description
Dutch Kills is an indie-rock band, proudly hailing from the boroughs of NYC. Mark Murmann (of Fracture Magazine and Listen.com) described Dutch Kills' 2000 release as "a sound so full and textured it's hard to believe it was created by one person. Dutch Kills is as talented at crafting dreamy Indie Rock songs, playing guitar and singing as he is at building a strong sound in a studio." Scale 300 Feet to the Inch leaves some of the 'indie' behind, replacing the home studio and the sequencers with a professional recording and 4 additional band members, for a sound that's fuller, more textured, and dreamier-yet. |
