Artist description Playing solo for years, Bret’s music was originally geared towards filling a room with one guitar and one voice. For this reason, the music is complex in its simplicity while staying close to the edge of something unpleasant, yet oddly beautiful. Doing whatever he can to keep himself from becoming just another nameless face playing to a bunch of unappreciative listeners, he's begun to embark on filling out further instrumentation on his own, digging into his bag of tricks by adding bass and drums on a whim.
