Artist description
Not quite famous, Lyle Tribe has been playing
drums for 35 years, performing virtually all
commercial music styles; old-time, blues, rock,
country, reggae, swing, jazz, hip-hop, even punk,
jug band & classical.
Lyle has shared the stage with top recording
artists such as: K.D. Lang, Prairie Oyster,
Waylon Jennings, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Honeymoon
Suite and The Everly Brothers, to name but a few.
In the year 2000 Lyle decided to direct his talent
to education and developed a drum set performance
called "Rhythm 101" and began touring elementary
schools and high schools in British Columbia and
Alberta. |

Artist History
Lyle Tribe was born and raised in Abbotsford B.C.
on July 27th,1955. At the age of 5 Lyle developed
a peculiar hip disorder which basically disabled
him to the use of crutches for nearly 5 years.
He picked up his first pair of drum sticks at the
age of 12.
