Artist History
KIRK KELLY emerged from the New York Lower East Side post-punk acoustic scene that came to be known as "Antifolk." He helped gain national attention for that movement with his SST Records debut release, GO MAN GO, produced by the Violent Femmes' Brian Ritchie. KELLY Released NEW CITY on MUGSY Records in 1997. Now performs with the acoustic trio PADDY on the RAILWAY in addition to his regular solo appearances. |
