Artist History Developed in parts of the United States, Germany and Poland, Anorkia is an international act that delivers hard hitting electronic music that makes a statement! Anorkia was founded in Janurary of 2002 by Fangran Hong, a musician who at the time lived in Seattle. He was joined by up-and-coming solo artist KR-LIK, who did fantastic drum tracks for Fangran's (Fang for short)tightly knit electronic pulses. Soon, Andrew Hicks (DR3W) from Michigan signed on to provide vocals and Jessica DeFoe (JE$$)came aboard to do all of the female vocals for Anorkia. KR-LIK left the band in mid-2002 to pursue a solo career, shortly after Anorkia was joined by Dirk Försterling (the incredible German musician whose artist title is R@ZORBLA.DE), who does all of the band's mixing and mastering, as well as additional programming and some drums. Anorkia's demo, Children of Pride, has been released to record labels, radio stations, eager fans and potential new fans alike and has received much praise considering the small budget that Anorkia has had to work on. No label negotiations have yet begun, but Anorkia will continue it's electronic onslaught by spending time writing new songs and doing shows in the Eastern United States. The rest is history in the making...
