Artist description
Straight out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, the self proclaimed "ska capital of Canada" comes the Happy Nipple Project. This eight-piece ska band has been playing together since the winter 2001. Their music is a mix of ska with just about any genre of music you can think of, from emo to punk to jazz to rock and even funk. Since their debut show in May of 2002, their music has a way of getting people to dance and have an all around good time. Whether it is playing for benefit shows, sold out shows or for friends and family, they always have fun and so do the people watching them. HNP are currently recording and are always putting forth an effort to become more known locally and nationally. With the prospects of touring this summer, HNP is hoping to bring the fun of the local shows nationally because Winnipeg shouldn't be the only ones benefiting from great ska music |
