    Artist description
F.I.A is a 7-piece band that has played together for two years. They originated in Eastern Washington, and have a wide variety of instruments. The band consists of electric and acoustic guitars, bass, keyboards, drums, percussion and their signature instrument: the viola. All this creates an incredibleand indescribable sound that not only moves the stage, but moves the audience as well. Be taken on a journey with the new song "Just Because" or soar through the sky with "Vertical Release". Whichever song it may be, you are sure to find one to call your own. F.I.A is an extremely different band. They mix culture with passion, desire and explosive energy. This blend of music is called "Cultured Rock". They love to perform, but most of all they love to worship. Every member in the band has dedicated his life to serving God. Underneath the music lies the true message. F.I.A is not here to preach, but to show you through their lives, the difference between faith, and Faith In Action.

"Andres" - Andy was born in Medical Lake, Washington. His preacher dad and mom raised him in the Medical Lake Community church. He loves music, people and most of all his collection of Antique Cell Phones. He's been playing drums for 5 years and still loves every minute. He loves traveling and hopes to make a career out of it somehow. F.I.A is a dream come true for him, and he's hoping God will use the band for whatever he wants; not just what Andy wants. "ANDY" - Andy was born on November 14, 1986. He has grown up in the Church, spending most of his time, well, a lot of his time hanging out with the worship team. In the process, he has developed a love for music and a knack for sound stuff. He is the best sound tech in the world, but don't tell him we told you that. Andy has three brothers who also love music. In his spare time he likes to hang out with friends, play paintball, and spend time with his family. He is creative with his hair whether it be the color or the cut. He likes it as long as it is different from everyone elses. He is a very responsable person and has a genuine love for the Lord. "David" - David is a 20 yearold keybord dude, born in Hawaii. He enjoys composing techno/jazz fusion, watching black and white movies and driving down country roads in the moon light. David kills time by studying theoretical physics and playing "OO7" for Nintendo 64 with his room mates. "Koby" - Koby is a 17 yearold, half Canadian, freshmen at Spokane Falls Community College. His favorite thing, over anything else, is F.I.A. Koby has been playing guitar for 3 years. Music is his passion. His main hobby is theater. He has appeared in many shows with CYT (Christian Youth Theater). Koby was home scooled his entire life up until last fall, when he stared at the community college. He learned to play guitar from his father Kirk, who is an entertainer and plays all through Canada. He didn't really discover his passion for music until he joined theater when he was 13. He didn't discover his passion for guitar until he joined the band when he was 14. There is nothing he loves more than being with his friends as a band. F.I.A is an experience he will never forget. "Matt" - Born a small baby boy in the state of Minnesota, Matt moved to Spokane at the delightful age of 3. As far as musical preferences are concerned, give him pretty much anything (except country). Matt picked up the bass guitar when he was 14 years old and hasn't put it down since. In his free time, he loves being drug behind a boat at high speeds, and playing fetch with his pet fish "Pez". "Nic" - It all started on a cold December morning in 1981...............Oh like you really want to know all that stuff. Nic has lived in Spokane all his life with his dad, Paul, mom, Lisa and brother, Nathan. He started playing guitar in the latter part of 1997, and the addiction soon started. Nic started leading worship for the youth group at Valley Fourth Memorial Church in 1999, and has been loving every minute of it. As of June 22nd, his next adventure begins, the maaried life with his wonderful, amazing and the list goes on, fiance Meghan. "Seth" - Seth's journey began at a highschool retreat. There was a band performing, and Seth was intrigued by the rhythm and beat. The very next day, Seth grabbed a ping pong paddle and started to play. The band was impressed, for his timing was on and his beats were the best! They told him that he should continue to play, and 4 years later he joined the band F.I.A. Now he teaches young kids how much fun percussion can be. He's hilarious, lovable, wild and crazy. "Thomas" - Having been born in Charleston, South Carolina, Thomas had an impeccable musical prowess. Dealing with a facsimile of the musical practice he needed, he bounded beyond all expectations that were held him. Thomas grew to play viola, due to the accusation of his forth grade orchestra teacher heralding him to have looked like a viola player. His achievements in music include: Spokane Youth Symphony,East Valley Strolling Strings, East Valley Elite String Orchestra, Regional Solo competition, State Solo Competition and many camps and quartets for weddings, diners, etc... Currently, Thomas focuses solely on the "Cultured Rock" sensation F.I.A for his music endeavors. Now only one thing renders him from his goal of being a member of a high-class, successful, famous band; the status of F.I.A.
