    Artist History
The upcoming release of Devil May Care's new CD has spawned a great interest in this up and coming band. For a better look at what it is that makes Devil May Care, let's go to the streets and hear what just a few of the many thousands of die hard fans have to say: So they sound a bit like Tool playing Sabbath while rocking out to Jesus Lizard! Who doesn't these days? These guys rock! Although often compared to Tool, Devil May Care denies any affiliation with the band, one member claims he never heard of the band. Although if Tool is reading this, Devil May Care would also like to note that they have nothing against them and would like to borrow some money. For a band from the buttoned-down midwest catholic suburbs, Devil May Care sure doesn't seem to mind that their immortal souls will be ravaged in Hell for all eternity. Dressed as clergy, Devil May Care's irreverence is balanced out by a serious purpose to create music that, while perhaps endangering the soul a little, helps also to free it by calling into question a good deal of the norms that so often bind the soul from its true goal of free play. You can really tell these guys mean it, Ya know? Huh? Know what I'm saying? We know. Influenced by the combined events of four seperate and not at all equal lives, Devil May Care calls on their own emotional, intellectual, and personal experiences to write and share music that they are really invested in. Taking issue with the seemingly endless stream of meaningless drivel that coats like a toxic slime the lyric sheets of many of todays bands, Devil May Care strives to write music that matters. Devil May Care has been together for about 2 years and is made up of Christopher (Guitar), Douglas (Lead Vocal), Jim (Drums), and Dickie (Bass/Vocals). I sure like video games and pretty girls. Indeed. Devil May Care is strongly Pro-attractive women and video games, and would like to suggest making more video games that attractive women would like to play. Preferably with Devil May Care. Right now.
