Artist History
Started out as a joke, our friend jon wanted to start a band, stating the only way he could make a living is to be a rock star. So the "The E.N.D(effervescent nasal decongestants)" was formed. It consisted of Jonathan Smith on Vocals, Kyle Weissman on Guitar, Mike Winbun on Bass, Joe Hardin on drums, and for a short time, Lee Meier on the saxophone. As things progressed, Mike, Joe, and Kyle realized that we had something going here, but were lacking in the vocals department (Jon just can't sing). So we slyly kicked him out and recruited Rob Johnson on vocals, who also plays guitar. Things really picked up from here, the band being able to successfully cover many songs. But something was missing. Rob was having trouble playing and singing at the same time, so Mike took the liberty of inviting Dusting Silver to a practice to play guitar, who the band decided to keep as a guitarist. The band now had 3 guitarists, which led to some pretty unique instrumental songs. Things progressed even more, and the band put out about 4 originals, at which this point 3 have been kept, and had their first show in Scottsburg, IN. Shortly after this show it was decided that Joe would leave the band and very quickly the band Recruited Derek Scarborough on the drums. This is the point we are at now, working on making more songs, doing a few shows here and there, and just having fun. |
