Artist History
Just Lot is a relatively new band, with roots in the central North Carolina area. Beginnings from several different well-known secular bands in the late 80's and 90's club circles. Minus the rockstar wannabe attitude and egos(been there, done that), add wives(for Keith and Rick), kids and most of all, JESUS CHRIST, who watched over us and showed us mercy through the years, when we were not exactly a Christian band. Ten years later you get Just Lot. We got the name from 2 Peter 2:7, "And delivered Just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked". The Bible says Lot, was a just man. Thats why He sent the angels to tell he and his family to leave the wicked city of Sodom and Gomorrah. He was going to destroy it with fire, because of the immorality and wickedness there. Lot, was oppressed by the wicked men in this world but not overcome, thanks to God! The Lord Jesus takes care of His own, even in this crazy, cold-hearted, world we live in today. Just Lot is a living example of the saying, "Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven" Keith Ford on lead guitar would probably be considered, the "standout" musician of the band, a highly respected guitarist in the area. Chase is the youngest member and gives the nu-style, influence and energy to the band and spreads the Word. Bro.Rick writes most of the songs and adds the vocals/rythym guitar and general weirdness to the music. |
