Artist description
Vaphor (V) is Michael Joseph; or rather an artistic platform through which joseph's myriad become threatingly palpable rhythms and dark, ominous melodies. Loneliness, Frustration, and the need to live in a mold broken after its creation all contribute to the birth of vaphor. Written, produced, arranged, and programmed over the last two years, the album 'scene full of invisibles' is an artistic exploration and a discovery of what we all now know about modern day.
Michael creates soundscapes that are vast and are a test to the ear. "I often try to hide things in songs, I like when things are soft yet forceful... I like things that are quaint & tiny, and make them somehow become big and important. I'm very much a mood person…" |

Press Reviews
"With a very similar sound to Trent Reznor, VAPHOR uses clear, striking drums, slightly processed, pained vocals, and heavy synths. " Mark K - LISTEN.com
