Press Reviews "IRON RAIN hails from Eureka, CA and they like their rock hard. If you're into metal, you might wanna check out this band. They're pounding and playing like in the good old days. They don't give a shit about commerciality or trends. Turn back the time to about fifteen years ago and then you'll know how these eight songs will fill the emptiness of your room for about forty minutes. Cee has a high voice sometimes, which is important for good heavy metal. Her screams will make you shiver. The fact that this band takes care of their own business can at least be called brave and true. They believe in what they stand for and that's what you'll hear back in their sound. A sound that is quite unique.I've been digging to find anything that I could compare this band with, butcouldn't find it. That's good I think. Whether you like their sound or not, that's up to you. If you like heavy metal, that has its roots in the mid eighties and you like high screaming vocalists, you'd better have a listen to IRON RAIN. Some parts of "Faith Healer" reminded me of the old TWISTED SISTER, but only some parts of the song may have this comparision. It's one of the best songs on the CD for me though. When I looked at the band's website, I found pictures of the band members which gave them a certain mystical feel. And their names also go into that same direction.
