Artist History I have been playing the guitar sice I was 6 at Mr. Schmidtmeyers classical guitar school in Weissenburg, Bay. He successfully taught me how to learn playing classical peaces by heart and show them at the "Jugend Musiziert" contests. But I desired to compose my own non-classical music. With 11 I got this fascinating multi-media computer named Amiga500. Soon I became kind of addicted to those littel tracker proggis that were available for free. The Amiga500 was my first computer (after the c16 and c64) that was able to play pieces of "any sound" with its 8-Bit sampling technique on 4 channels. It was amazing how fast one could create music intended to impress a little bit my friends and family. However for "real music" the amount of sampling bits and channels was too low, which is no wonder as it is already from 1985. With 16 a few friends of mine (Sven Schuster, Thomas Seigerschmidt, Sebastian Meyer, Eggi) and I founded a punk band called "Ideal Standard" (you have heard of this band as we signed a big advertising deal that made our band-logo appear on nearly every closet in germany and other countries :-) - the predecessor of the Crazy Peanuts. For a while this brought me back to the analog way of making music. It lasted for a year or so until I had to finish my high school with the so called "Abitur" which forced me to go out of the band (in addition I am in fact no real ska punker). Then I bought my family a brand new pc, mainly to enable me getting new possibilities in sound-creation. After completing my civil-service I began studying Computer Science at the university of Erlangen, Bay. , Germany. I love this study but if there is somebody out there who could give me the opportunity to become a major music-producer - well - perhaps this person should contact me by mail or so you know ;-)?
