Artist History Marcus Parsley is a jazz trumpet player originally from Jacksonville, Florida - living and working in New York. When not performing with singer/pianist Loston Harris he writes and records music for various projects of his own including Organic Beat Garden. Look for the Organic Beat Garden track "Trumpet Trekking" on the recent Water Music Records release - "Jazz Lounge." This compilation of "chill-out" music features tracks by other notables such as Norah Jones w/ Wax Poetic and Kruder / Dorfmeister. Loston Harris' new release of standards "Timeless," is available now on the web and will be in stores by late August '03. The recording features Marcus swinging in the straight-ahead style along with Loston, Chris Berger (bass), and Alvester Garnett (drums).
