Artist description Who are we? We are a non-denominational Christian fellowship seeking to know God better. If you are looking for a church home, we would like for you to consider the Bentonville Church of Christ. We have entered God's grace through an obedient faith, having been united with Jesus through the initial acts of repentance, confession of faith and baptism. We are Worshippers Together, praising God and Jesus and being spiritually refreshed. We are Learners Together, studying the Bible as God's Word to instruct our intellect, build our spirit, and guide us in living. God's Word is alive and relevant. Studies are offered for all ages and levels of learning. We are a Family Together bound by a common devotion to God our Father, and His Son Jesus. Lasting friendships develop as we share a wealth of enriching experiences for all our family members and accept a range of opportunities to serve, as did Jesus. What Are we About ? Our mission is to make and mature followers of Jesus Christ. Becoming a follower of Jesus is essential to one's forgiveness of sins and is the beginning of the maturing process. We seek to make followers of Jesus through private and public teaching. We also support and personally participate in missions around the world. Growing to maturity in Christ, we believe, makes one a better person in every personal relationship. We seek to accomplish this through relevant Bible classes, meaningful worship assemblies, ministries, and sharing activities that promote spiritual development. What do we Believe ? ...That Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God who died for our sins and arose from the dead. 1 Cor.15:1-8/John 3:16 ...That the Bible is the inspired word of God and our final authority on what God wants for us and of us. 2 Timothy 3:16/Psalm 119:105 ... That every person has worth as a creation of God but all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 ...That forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to those who trust Christ as Lord. John 3:16 ...That those accepting Christ should repent of sin, confess faith and be baptized into Him. Acts 2:38 ...That the church is the body of Christ on earth and exist to save the lost and mature the saved. Ephesians 4:1-16 ...That Jesus Christ will one day return and take the saved of the earth to our Father in Heaven. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 These beliefs can be studied in detail in the "What We Believe" class.
