Artist description
I'm a producer as well as a singer/songwriter living in Sweden. I love writing songs and recording them. I love songs that make you feel something when you listen to them. My goal is to get more women into the music industry, whether it be artists, producers, managers or what have you. I don't want us to take over, but it would be nice with some variety. Yes? |

Artist History
I've played and listened to music since I was a baby. My dad was and still is a great jazzbuff so alot of that streamed into my ears when I was younger. In my teens I picked up the guitar and haven't put it down since. My hero was the great Paul Simon. I kept playing and moved to New York where I had a great music teacher who taught me alot. I had some smaller jobs there. I've been to music school for 3 years, and music university for 4.5 years where I got a diploma in music teaching. After working as a music teacher for 2 years, it was time for me to do something constructive. I went back to music uni and started a course in Music Production. I was then the only woman there. I'm still there, and it's a great challenge for me. I've played with a girl called Jessica alot. We called ourselves the Harmony Babes for awhile and had lots of gigs around Malmö. Our influence was the Indigo Girls. Now I'm back and I'm trying to do my own thing. It feels good to be alive! |
