Artist History A drama queen since birth, Jane began singing at the age of 10. In the last 12 years, she has sung about every type of music; pop, rock, jazz, country, classical, blues, folk... you name it. In the summer of 2001, Jane began to write her own material, combining all of the musical elements she had previously worked with. After a year of experimenting with form and content, she is now focusing on further developing the craft. A full-time college student in Boston, Jane is studying Music Performance and Literature for voice. While she is still not sure that she really wants to do the whole Opera thing, the singer-songwriter loves the emotional connection and challenge that performing and recording for an audience provides. Jane is currently working on a three-month writing and recording project and hope to have a low-tech 5-song demo of all new material finished by the end of march.
