Artist History HARVIST came to be in the year 1996 by one Jeffrey N. McManis (a.k.a.Dusk)on all instruments.In 1997,he recorded the 2 song "PROMO '97" and in 1998 Dusk recorded the 5 song"FORN GLIMMNERAKA" CD/promo.This recording landed HARVIST a recording deal with Dark Horizon Records.In 1999,Dusk recorded the"A GLEAM IN THE NIGHT" CD for the label.The release recieved very favorable reviews in magazines such as Metal Maniacs & Terrorizer Magazine.In 2002,Jeffrey N.(Dusk) recruited a live line-up to perform at a local metal show called "TOMBFEST".This line-up recorded"TURMOIL OF THE SEED",a precursor for HARVIST's sophmore release for Dark Horizon Records,titled"THE TRANSCENDENCE OF WILL INTO METAPHYSICAL CREATION",due out sometime 2004.Jeffrey N. has again recruited several musicians for this release,including Mike Miller,guitarist for the band SOUL DEVICE and Matthias Horvath(Pentaface/Churchburner)on vocals.A few other musicians are currently in rehersals and the completed group will be gearing up to perform certain select dates on the east coast in the states,as well as a couple South American dates.
