Artist History
Empty Chamber was formed during 1997 in the small town of Ajax, Ontario, while all 5 members were still attending high school. They practiced obsessively in order to develop their own style, as well as mature their song writing abilities. Two years later Empty Chamber unexpectedly found themselves recording their debut album, 1999’s “Coincidence or Conspiracy?…”, a powerful album of melodic rock songs with a heavy groove.
They’ve played countless shows in and around Ontario in order to bring their unique brand of music to anyone who will listen. This has earned them a strong reputation for explosive performance and found them playing such venue’s as Toronto’s legendary “Opera House”, the “Horseshoe Tavern”, “Lee’s palace”, even the Edge 102.1 fm studios, to which DJ Dave Bookman declared empty chamber to be “The next wave of Ajax Rock!”.
With an ever-growing fanbase this band is determined to take their music to the highest level possible. They are now older, more experienced, and more mature and this is showing in the new material they have written for their next album. This can be seen from the demo c.d.’s they have recorded and posted with confidence on their website.
The formula is there, and Empty Chamber is gearing up to bring it to the masses.
