Artist History
Rasca burst on to the scene at the tail-end of 2000, after a few friends decided to form a band that was primarily ska-flavored. Over time, other friends joined and left, each changing the sound and approach in their own inestimable way. Naturally, the band’s ethnic diversity, along with their funk, jazz and rock backgrounds, has pushed Rasca into new territories, merging the backbone elements of ska and latin music with other influences from further afield. |
