Artist description
Leverage is an original three-piece rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio. While some songs have a straight ahead rock sound, others are mutilayered in arrangement. Their lyrics are thought provoking and reflective of many facets of everyday experiences. "We think of our music as a soundtrack to our lives, and hopefully to our listeners as well." |

Artist History
Leverage was born in December 1998, when three long-time friends got together for an evening of music, discussion, and revelry. After several hours of improvising, they laid down tracks to a very good, but as-yet unnamed song. Upon hearing the results, they were satisfied with the results, and decided to tackle the task of writing and producing an album. Although Leverage the band was born recently, its history actually goes back much further - more than ten years before that December 1998 jam session. In the spring of 1989, cousins Chris and Phil Boland first picked up their respective instruments of guitar and drums. Across town, and as fate would have it, Tom Enneking brought home his first bass. The three soon threw themselves into learning all they could about their instruments and music. Even though the three had yet to meet, the seeds of Leverage had been planted. |
