Artist description
Adelyn is a modern-rock quartet hailing from Harrisonburg, Virginia
comprised of four James Madison University students. The group boasts an
original rock sound combining the intensity and emotion of melodic hard-
rock and alternative with the groove and percussiveness of acoustic rock,
colored with splashes of punk, emo, and post-hardcore influences.
The band fuses intense and hook-laden vocal melodies and harmonies,
intricate and powerful guitar textures, tight drum and bass interplay, and
introspective, relevant lyrics to create a sound that is truly unique.
After a successfully self-released debut EP ("Sentimental Little Words")
and having shared the stage with the likes of Jimmie's Chicken Shack and
Edwin McCain, Jivestreet emerges as one of Virginia's most promising young
rock bands.
