    Artist History
At first there was just two of us. Andy and I. We started listening to punk/alternative in 7th grad, and had always aspired to be rock stars. Our love of music grew and grew. We became interested in creating out own music. Andy already owned two guitars, a J. Reynolds acoustic, anda Fender Squire Strat. He was relatively good at the time. I however did not own an instrument, I was puzzled about whether or not to take up bass. My cousin Jamie was a great player, he was the one who inspired me to pick up bass. Being the kind of person that i am, i was always drawn to the BC Rich Warlock. As soon as i had saved enough money, i went out and bought one. During our eigth grade year, we started talking really about starting a band. Andy was now and extremely good guitar player,as was i on bass. We just lacked drums, that would come later. Andy and I began brainstorming and coming up with names. We came up with Mystaza, Mweis and Last Saturday. None of them appealed to us at all. Just as i was falling asleep, i remembered a lecture my history teacher had given us. Civil Disobedience! i shouted. It stuck. Now we had a name and only lacked drums and someone to play them. At first we thought our good buddy elliott would play, but he began to complain. We then went to our friend Corey, but he was too busy with swimming. Finally we decided to talk to another friend of ours,Nick. At first we were skeptical because he lisetned to rap and was one to follow trends. Nick seemed interested so we let him try out. He stayed at the house andy was housesitting. One of the members of the household had a set of drums. Nick sat on the seat, picked up he sticks, thought a little bit, and started to jam. At first it was a little sketchy, but he cleaned it up and was rocking! Ok, so now we had the instruments, but no vocals. That problem was taken care of pretty quickly. CJ! was the vote and i accepted it. Thats what got us to where we are now.
