Artist History underwoman started under another name in the year 1989. they signed their first record-contract in 1990. from now on they released five recordings, toured through europe and played with bands like pro-pain, nofx, nuclear assault, spudmonsters, schweisser, m.o.d.. kreator, h-blockx ... 1997 the band splitted and later underwoman where born. in 2001 they recorded a new album called 'atomic super villain'. the new sound is a groovy mix of hard melancholy and raging hardcore. you hear the years of live and studio experience in every tone and beat. enjoy it.

Press Reviews waste of mind 2002: UNDERWOMAN liefern mit "Atomic Super Villain" ein Demo der Extraklasse ab. Die sechs verdammt fett und professionell produzierten, innovativen Rock-Tracks fressen sich unwillkürlich so tief in die Gehörgänge, dass nur noch eine (Ohr-)Wurmkur hilft. Die Songs sind so eingängig und intelligent arrangiert, dass man glatt meinen könnte, eine der besseren Major-Rockbands hätte sich in der Anlage eingenistet. Die ruhigeren Parts wecken bei mir Assoziationen mit den großen, hypnotischen Wüsten-Rock-Kapellen, während die brachialen, schnellen Momente auch gut aus einem rockigen HardCore-Album stammen könnten. Vielfältig und komplex ist der Sound, ohne jedoch auseinander zu driften oder den Hörer zu überfordern. Die vier Jungs spielen klar auf den Punkt, alle Songs wirken sehr gut strukturiert und überzeugend. UNDERWOMAN machen auf "Atomic Super Villain" alles richtig, und man kann nur hoffen, dass die vier talentierten, erfahrenen Musiker bald einen fetten Plattendeal an Land ziehen werden!
