Artist History
Tacky began recording his poems and "a capella indie rock songs"
in the winter of 2001, upon the recommendation of a friend.
In the spring of the same year, he self-released 'lo-fi wordcore'. tacky currently feels
that that release is filled with naivety and self-consciousness.
In the winter of 2002, he released 'every time you spin this you will
be reminded of a victory'. Here, we see a less nervous, less naive and self-conscious tacky,
unafraid to let the thoughts be expressed as intended (almost, anyway, he says today),
and even less afraid to let the emotions explode when necessary. |
