Artist description Down in the Sun ties together numerous rock influences ranging from old school punk to the most modern rock sounds. Some of the band's favorite bands are AFI, Fugazi, Kyuss, Rancid, Alice in Chains, and Queens of the Stone Age.

Artist History Down in the Sun formed in autumn of 2002. The band was formed by guitarist Dean Weber and bassist Andrew Jude. After jamming with a number of other musicians, drummer Chris Kelly joined the fold. The band has written a number of songs and recorded in October a two song demo. More recording is expected to come shortly.
