Artist History
Wendi Daniels was born in the small timber town of Colton, Oregon. Growing up in the back hills and luscious hay fields, she yearned to reach out and create. First she performed as a Portland Rage (Roller Hockey) Dancer and then as an original member of the Renaissance singers. She has performed for over 7 years with Tapestry Theatre Company. Her original musical training took a turn when she started writing. Wendi finds writing to be an escape from reality. "Within your head you can create anything you desire and upon that means of expression, deliver a beautiful product."
At a small coffee house held in a basement of a church, Wendi played her original music for the first time. Greeted with amazing response she ventured out and started playing solo gigs. After a few years she decided to take it up a notch and add a band. A year of trial and error passed before the hope and vision that she had, came together. A group that grabs you ear and pulls you in.
Wendi Daniels is a full time singer/songwriter. She has performed solo or with her fellow band members at coffee houses, private parties, weddings, and small venues in Portland, Oregon. She has been featured at songwriter's circles and currently she has two CD out "Wendi Daniels Simply Acoustic" and Fully produced self titled "Wendi Daniels." Wendi will be expanding and branching out into the mainstream music scene this upcomming year. Concentrating more on performing concerts and venues.
Wendi's music comes straight from the heart. She crafts quiet moments, in simple words, that touch and pull at something within - the thrill of love, the fire of desire, the fear of knowing and the yearning to be known. |
