Artist description
Melody driven guitar rock is the best way to describe Southern California’s Scrimmage Heroes. The band combines the fluidity of intelligent lyrics with the harmonious union of a dual guitar attack to produce a powerful sound full of introspection and angst. Dedicated to integrity in song writing, Scrimmage Heroes are ready to make the kids take notice with their contagious brand of rock n’ roll as well as a blistering live set. |

Press Reviews
Flipside - …this full-length is stocked with more than enough contagious tuneage to keep them in shit-eating grins for the next six months. And if you happen to be wondering how they cut it live, let’s just say that you’d better leave your Mom at home when ya go to see ‘em.
MeanStreet – Nothing Comes Clean is an awesome array of rock genres… …cool twists hitting from mainstream alternative rock sounds, some delicate tinges of country-rootsy rock and a healthy dosage of underground pop rock acts like the Pixies prove that the Scrimmage Heroes aren’t out to fake anyone into thinking they’re just another copycat punk act.
Twenty Four Seven – These guys rock out with a lot of clean guitar lines and catchy melodies… …this CD is a good one to add to your collection. A good album by any stretch. |
