Press Reviews
In common with myself and many others, musiciam opened his own website and that is where you can get these two tracks from and I HIGHLY recommend that you check this artist out. It amazes me how a chance encounter like our meeting, can lead to very, very rewarding musical experiences. I'm glad I started with ULOB because it definitely gives you a flavour of how eclectic this particular experience is going to be.
Starting with maybe the oddest intro you are going to hear this year, ULOB gives no hint of its inner character until a massive bass hits you upside the head and you wake up in the belly of the beast. God this is a dynamo of a track, it could power whole cities. Featuring some of the best cut/insert work I have heard in a long while Unbearable Lightness of Being is a solid, intelligent slice of music that straddles genres with seven league boots. Bloody masterful.
iamnotltd (Live) shares the odd intro award but all other comparisons are meaningless because this track trawls a waay different groove than ULOB and one a lot closer to this reviewers heart. The track is a very clever melding of reaggae-ish licks and a spoken vocal that is much a part of this tracks propulsion system as the bass. A diamond geezer 'I'm one of a kind' track that I cannot praise highly enough. I KNOW you've probably never heard of this lot before but do yourself a favour, correct that right now. It's an absolute sure bet that I'm going to be keeping a very close eye on this part of the web from now on.
Totally original, quirky tracks that pack a hell of a punch. What more could you ask?
