Artist History
Both San Diego, California natives, William Wall (Vocals)
and Brian Goral (Keyboards) have both brought with them distinct
musical experiences and influences. William, age 25, has performed both with
his voice and guitar skills with other local bands in the past before
deciding to jump into the local electronic music scene. "We want to be different, we wanted to incorporate style and fashion which has been scarce in popular music for decades."
Brian, age 26, a
classicaly trained pianist, graduated from UCSD with a B.A. in Music with an emphasis on
on piano performance, compositon and music technology. When
not recording or performing with EMODICA, Brian teaches piano throughout the metropolitan area. "Even though
I grew up on the piano, studying and teaching works from the likes of Mozart, Brahms and Chopin,
I am still passionate about my own music and musical influences which vary from classical to pop to
dance." All of the music EMODICA creates is co-written and produced and recorded in a home studio built
by both band members. "It was a lot of work, but worth every bit of effort to have our own space to create in."
With such a diverse and talented duo, EMODICA is sure to inspire the hearts and minds of many witht their original and introspective brand of music. |

Press Reviews
"Our $0.02...if you like alternative of the Depeche Mode/Erasure/Yaz/Vince Clark style or ilk, you'll regret not giving these guys a well-deserved listen. Well-crafted and polished synthpop. Check 'em out!"
