Artist History
The Eminent Resistance came about in the year 1995 when Joe Flahive (drummer) met Tom Mixon. Tom mixon was weird and crazy and smart. Joe was weird and crazy and just ambitious, so what happened was, Tom went to Joe's house one day where Joe said that he wanted to make a band. Tom was interested so he went. When he got there he relize what he got himself into. He saw Joe standing there with a piece of crap acoustic ibanez saying "take it". Tom did, and it seems as though he never let go from that day forward, coming up with all kinds of different outlandish sounds and chords that no one has ever thought of. Well, after that the band was called "Gravity". What a weird name. We had no idea why we named it that but, well, anyways we ended up searching for a bass player only to find people who really werent bass players at all. We had Nick Scarfo, Chris Huson, Matt Keniston,
Sheryl Sandler, Andrea Batten, and more. We also had a few guitarists like Dave and John. Finally found Rob. We also changed are name over the years too. We were Cryptic Illusion, Sulfur, Sulpher, umm, others... Rain... Well anyways, over the years we have been progressing slowly |
